Canvas Prints

We have had some rather bare walls in our home for quite some time, and we have been planning for a long time to get a canvas print of a picture from our Road Trip last summer.   We had been saving the moulah for this project, and after doing some research, I decided to order from CanvasPop.  I signed up for their email promotions, and began the wait for a coupon code.  In early April they sent out a coupon code, so it was time to order!

In the meantime, we had also decided to get a smaller canvas to put in the main bath.  Rob gave me some absolutely beautiful roses a couple of months ago and we had taken a number of pictures of them.  With great difficulty, we chose pictures for both canvasses, and sent our order in.

They just arrived today, and I'm very happy with them!  We have even hung them up already - that is a truly amazing feat for this household!

So, here are the before and after pictures.

In our main bathroom:

In our dinette.  The canvas looks a bit small on the picture but in real life it is a good size.  I had experiemented a lot with taping paper together to see what size a canvas would be required.  Let's just say that the canvas looks a lot better than scrap paper taped together with green painters tape! :)

The picture, by the way, is from Kakabeka Falls Provincial Park.  Our visit there was one of the highlights of our vacation.

If anyone is interested in ordering a canvas print, I am happy with my first impressions of Canvas Pop.  If you're interested, I can refer you, and I believe you will then get a coupon code for 15% off.   (The coupon code I used was for 25% so if you're willing to wait, it would be a better deal to sign up for their emails and wait until they offer that promotion again.  But if I refer you, then I get a credit if I do a future order! Hence this plug.  :) ).   They service customers in Canada and in the United States.

What a great shot of the falls! I don't think I managed to get a picture that nice when we were there, but now I feel inspired to look at mine again :) I like both canvases - the rose one looks perfect there. Fun, eh? I just had a picture collage made up when the went on sale 40% off at the Superstore. I chose 5 pics from our Bemidji trip that I'd edited - and it turned out really nice. But I can't find a place to put it, so it's sitting on the floor leaned up against the living room wall right now :S
