Easter Weekend

My Easter weekend fun started Thursday afternoon.  Sister Lisa arrived from Vancouver late Wednesday night, and on Thursday Mom took all the girls out for a late lunch at William's.    I happened to have my camera along,  so we snapped a couple pictures.  However, the pictures of Karin, Esther and I really did not turn out well.  But here is a picture of my dear sister and my dear mother.

Friday was Good Friday, so later in the afternoon, Rob and I headed over to Dad & Mom's.  Arian & Karin came with the kiddos too, so our whole family was together for supper and the evening.  So nice to have Lisa with us for a few days!

Although the camera was present, this is the only picture we took.  Uncle Rob and Esther playing piano!

Sunday night we were all back at Mom & Dad's, with Oma, Aunt Marina,  and a couple more friends, Lisa Jane and Inez.  Eventually it was time to say goodbye to Lisa and now she is off to AUSTRALIA!!!  She plans to be there until mid October, but we won't see her again until at least Christmas.

Australia is very far away.  Lisa will shortly be boarding her plane, hopefully she can get good and comfortable for her 25 hour flight.   I can't imagine sitting on a plane that long, but Lisa will be able to tell us all about it, some 30-35 hours from now!  She is leaving Ontario Monday night, and it will be Wednesday morning in Australia when she lands.  The time difference between us will be 14 hours.
