Winnipeg - Part 1

On Monday, we went to Tinkertown, a nearby amusement park, with Yvetta, Corin, Caleb, Laura, Cher & Rich.   It was Luke's first day of work so he couldn't join us.  The trip to Tinkertown was to celebrate Laura's graduation from Grade 8, and we had a fun afternoon!  Tinkertown is a pretty low-key amusement park, and definitely geared towards kids but Rob and I went on quite a few rides.  I liked the ferris wheel and the jumping pillow best.  And of course, the bumper cars.  I love bumper cars!

Cher has a couple of blog posts about our visit here and here, so check them out, and here's a few pictures that Rob and I snapped that day.

That night we had pizza for supper which I am guessing is a favourite of Laura's and she also received some gifts from her family.  Laura, congratulations on finishing grade 8!  Thanks be to God for His gifts to you in enabling you to do so and we pray that He will continue to bless and sustain you as you begin highschool in the fall.  We glad that we were visiting when you went to Tinkertown to celebrate and could join you in this.

Even though I know much of this story, I'm still having fun "following" you guys here to our house - after the fact :) Thanks for taking the time (and effort!) to write it all out!
