Ball Game

Yesterday, we had the opportunity to go to a Blue Jays game - we were given awesome free tickets!  Our seats were behind the Jays' third base dugout, and only 3 rows behind the dugout (and 10 rows up from the field).  Best seats I've ever had and it was Rob's first time going to a Jays' game.

Here's a few pictures.  The Blue Jays were playing the Pittsburg Pirates.  I don't follow the Blue Jays much so I'm not that familiar with the players.  But baseball still is my favourite sport and it was so fun being there, with such great seats!  The Jays won too - 2 to 1!

Harvey had 4 tickets to give away so we went with Mark and Rachael - good times!

Seeing as the Rogers Centre sits at the base of the CN Tower, it is only fitting to include a picture of that too!

Although the game was on a weeknight, we did manage to leave in time to make the 7:00 start time.  But we didn't arrive on time, courtesy of a few traffic jams.  However, we certainly were there for the bulk of the ball game, and all the innings that had runs.

Coming home was almost worse than going though, this time due to construction.  No less than four times did we have to merge down to one lane of traffic, and two of those four times it was a 4-to-1 lane merge.  Brutal.  Needless to say, it was very late when we got home.  Still worth it though!  I love baseball.
