Rob and I left the Rock Lake Lodge on Thursday morning, and drove to Bon Echo Provincial Park. We planned to have a picnic lunch and then canoe out to Mazinaw Rock. Unfortunately, the canoe rentals are closed after Labour Day, so we did a bit of hiking instead.
The park was nearly empty, so we chose a nice campsite for our lunch. It was shady, and a bit cool, so to keep warm I walked in circles around Rob at the picnic table :)

We left Bon Echo mid-afternoon and headed for Toronto, with plans to enjoy dinner and spend the night in the big bad city. Along the way, we decided steak was to be on the menu for the day, so around Oshawa we asked the GPS to find us a steakhouse. It directed to us to an Outback not too far away, so off we went. We found many many restaurants, at the
Whitby AMC Entertainment Centrum but not the Outback. So, we decided to go to Milestones instead and yum, did we ever have a delightful steak dinner!
Then, off to our hotel for the night, before our trip to the Toronto Zoo on Friday!

i find the GPS is always wrong when looking for grocery stores & restaurants - it has a bad food sniffer-outer!
