Spring!

I know that spring officially came last Friday morning at about 7:45AM, but I am about ready to believe that it is actually here! As Rob and I didn't get away to Florida or Myrtle Beach as did most of Rob's family, we are most ready for spring! Well, I am anyways. Winter is Rob's favourite season.

I have three proofs for the fact that spring is here:

1) Roll up the Rim is back! This is always the first sign of spring for me. :)


2) I've seen a robin! Two of them, actually. The first one was nearly 2 weeks ago, as Rob and I meandered around town on our way to the Bible Conference, where Rev. Ian Hamilton spoke on Christian Joy. (The conference was excellent!) The second robin was in our own back yard.



3) The tulips have sprouted! I am so excited about this :) At church on Sunday a few ladies were saying their tulips were up, as well as crocuses and snow drops. I examined my tulips yesterday and there they were! All of them have sprouted, and now I am most anxious for them to bloom!



Spring has always been my favourite time of year. I love the warming weather, seeing everything turn green and new again, the smells of spring, the smell of spring rain, squishy terrain (like my parent's gravel driveway). So I'm glad that spring is here and I'm looking forward to enjoying some lovely spring days. Especially since I am only working 3 days a week this year and should have more time to spend outside enjoying spring!
