New Year's Eve

Rob and I had a New Year's Eve party here, with some family & friends in attendance. Pete & Alida, Arian & Karin, Lisa, and her friend Lisa. Known as Lisa Marie and Lisa Jane when both are around. We played a rousing game of Pictionary - that game can be so much fun! I think Lisa Marie said it best: "That's a great picture, I just didn't know what it was."

My drawing talents at their best :) Some words are really hard to draw! How would you draw "fortune" or "voodoo"?





Alex slept the evening away, but woke up when Arian & Karin put him in his carseat to go home - he looks like he just woke up here, poor boy. Look at those rosy cheeks! :)



Our game of Pictionary ended just before midnight. With a rather feeble "Happy New Year" and hugs for all, we saw the arrival of 2008. We had some snacks, and also some special fellowship reading Psalm 90, singing "Another Year is Dawning" and asked God's blessing on us and our families for 2008. God's blessings to you all in 2008.
