Before one of their swims, Dad & Arian had to get really hot first, so they threw a baseball around for a bit.

However, when it came time to take a picture to send to Karin's grandparents in the Netherlands, the shirt wasn't good enough, much to Arian's dismay. He borrowed Rob's shirt for the photoshoot. Another 5 weeks or so until the baby is born!

Rob got his shirt back though, for a picture of him and my Dad in their nearly matching Canada shirts, pardon my poor photography skills :)

It was nice to have Oma with us for the day - we're thankful for the good health she still enjoys, and that she can still get out so much. Aunt Marina was over as well, but I didn't get a nice picture of her.

Mom & Dad.

Rob and I.

And don't forget the dog, Terri.

Mom's flower garden by the pool.

For supper we had shish-ka-bobs. It was great fun, we hadn't done that in years. We made our own skewers, and BBQ'd them ourselves. It made the meal take a long time, but we had lots of time. It was really good too.

And that was our holiday Monday! I'm certainly glad for them, for an extra day off work, and then a short work week to follow.
